the way

A 500 mile pilgrimage through four of Spain’s 15 regions

The story

If you know the Klein family, or if you have been following along at all, you will catch on that they do not sit still for long. An idea sparked out of wanting to have uninterrupted time with his son before he headed off to college, Dan Klein & his eldest son, John, decided they would take off by foot during the Summer of 2021 to experience what is referred to as Camino de Santiago or the Way of St. James.

After returning back to the states from the pilgrimage and meeting so many along the way, yet another idea was born: guided trips through the Camino.

the adventure

A trip of a lifetime

Camino de Santiago, or the Way of Saint James, is a pilgrimage route that starts in different cities (Portugal, France) and leads to Santiago de Compostela, a city in Galicia (Spain) where it's believed that in the cathedral of Santiago the body of the apostle Saint James was buried.

Today, more than a pilgrimage, the Camino de Santiago is a unique experience and trip of a lifetime, with its routes attracting thousands of people from all over the world.

Similar to our R2R hikes, it takes advance training and planning to execute which is why we have decided to offer up our help to do so.
